How It Began
Jeff Van Started with Installation
The business grew from years spent seeing how cabinets fit in real homes.
Jeff Van founded Caveman Cabinetry in 2018 after spending more than three decades installing cabinets for shops across the Salt Lake area. That experience shaped a practical view of the work: a cabinet needs to look right, but it also has to fit the room and hold up to daily use.
Today, Caveman Cabinetry designs, builds, and installs cabinetry for homeowners across the Wasatch Front. Projects can range from a kitchen or bathroom vanity to a pantry, mudroom, or built-in wall. Each begins with a conversation about the space and what belongs in it.
Jeff does not claim to be a superhero. He has said that jobs do not always go perfectly. His commitment is to tell the truth about a problem, fix what needs fixing, and do the right thing instead of leaving it behind.
