We’re excited to announce we have opened our company for business this month, June 2018. Our Utah cabinet makers are now accepting open invitations to design and quote custom cabinets for any home or business. If you can dream it, we can make it. Our experts have built custom cabinets for kitchens, bathrooms, home offices, and theaters of any size throughout the valley. Even though we are a brand-new company, our design consultants, remodelers, and fabrication staff have been in the industry for decades, with combined experience spanning over 40 years. For those of you who are not familiar with what services we offer and how we offer it, here are a few details on our company.
Owner Jeff Van has been in the cabinetry and kitchen remodeling industry for quite a long time. During his career, he began to take note of the same key mistakes local companies were making during the construction process. These mistakes began to frustrate customers, slow down production time, and ultimately make people feel like they were not being taken care of properly. It was at these moment’s that Jeff began to realize that there was a better way to do things. Thus, Caveman Cabinetry was born. By creating his own company Jeff has been able to do things his own way, at the great benefit to his customers.
The foundation of our quality comes from the materials we use. Rather than using cheap materials, we use quality, solid wood components in our cabinets. We avoid using things like engineered woods, laminate, melamine, particle board, and plywood as they do not hold up as well over time. Another key difference with Caveman is our process. Most companies out there will arrive with cabinets that are pre-built and delivered. Remodelers often have to maneuver them into homes resulting in scratching/denting/chipping walls, other cabinetry, and/or countertops.
We have built this company to prevent these mistakes and give costumers a quality product they deserve. We avoid issues by building on site, we do a dry fitting to make sure all the parts are fabricated properly, then we build it on site. This reduces wait times and makes finishing jobs such as plumbing or electric work easier for your other contractors to achieve.
